Trading bot in Telegram messenger – Crypto Bot – announced the launch of the utility token SEND on The Open Network (TON) blockchain.

Representatives of Crypto Bot also announced an airdrop for “active and loyal” users of the application. According to the team, the snapshot was already taken at the end of March.

“SEND will become the cornerstone of the Crypto Bot ecosystem and will be used for rewards for using our products and much more,” the announcement says.

The exact release date of the coin was not disclosed by the project representatives.

The Telegram bot was launched about three years ago, during which time the service has added support for various cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, TON, LTC, ETH, TRX, GRAM, BNB, BUSD, USDC, and USDT.

In addition to custody functions, Crypto Bot supports a P2P platform and a digital asset exchange. The platform is also developing the Crypto Pay payment system.

The bot supports a voucher system, where the user can transfer cryptocurrency without a commission by issuing a virtual receipt.

Earlier, experts polled by ForkLog warned of the risk of losing cryptocurrencies when trading through Telegram bots. Despite the simple platform interface, there is a risk of hacking.

Recall that in October 2023, an unknown attacker targeted the Unibot trading Telegram bot. The damage amounted to almost $650,000.

Later, users of BONKbot and Solareum lost $520,000 due to hacks. CertiK analysts noted multiple reports of fund loss and speculated on a possible leakage of private keys.
